In this sermon, our pastor, Rev. Ian Forest-Jones, reminds us the manifestation gifts of the Holy Spirit equip us to proclaim and empower us to demonstrate the free, full and forever life promised by Jesus. Let us “desire the greater gifts” (1 Cor 12:31) that we might proclaim and demonstrate the love of God for building up the Church and for the common good.
A healthy, safe and functioning local church is the fullest expression of the kingdom of God on earth. While the Church and the Kingdom are not to be equated, the Church CAN live up to its calling and fullest potential IF it lives in and by the Holy Spirit.

Christians too may be scandalised by how God works in the world to reveal himself. The key is for the friend of Jesus to find treasure and value it scandalously in his or her lifestyle.
