We believe that authentic Christian life begins with conversion to Christ which involves repentance and faith in him; conversion to Christ results in justification (forgiveness) and regeneration (new birth). These are gifts that cannot be earned or inherited.
Is ‘too big to fail’ ever a good policy for Christian churches and organisations? The answer is a resounding “No!”, for the true and real influence of a church or Christian organisation does not consist in numbers, or in the social position of its members, nor in the stateliness of its buildings, nor in the largeness of its contributions, but in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
The One now on the throne, ascended 40 days after his resurrection, provided for and gave purpose to the disciples, so as to prepare them for their work of ministry, which was to herald the coming Kingdom in word and action, addressing those areas and instances of human life not yet reflecting the Kingdom.
