The apostle Paul was absolutely convinced of the superiority of love over extraordinary spiritual gifts and maturity, over eloquence and wisdom, even over extravagant deeds of generosity and self-sacrifice. Without love, all gifts and powers and actions we might claim for ourselves are worthless. Whom and how do we love so we are known for love?
